A Custom Closet for a Boss — Where Luxury Meets Function
Crafting a Custom Space That’s Stylish, Functional, and Totally Mina’s Vibe
Mina Marsow is a renaissance woman — the owner and CEO of Prospect Gymnastics, an emerging writer, and an active community leader. For as long as I’ve known Mina, she’s been a force of nature — driven, adventurous, and endlessly curious. When she asked for my help with her closet, I knew it would be a fun and rewarding project.

Space Assessment
With the new, fully accessible closet space, we could finally bring all of Mina’s clothes into one place. Before, her wardrobe was scattered across three different areas — a dresser, hallway closet, and her primary closet. By unifying her wardrobe in one well-designed space, we could not only clear out her dresser and hallway closet but also create a closet that felt personal and purposeful.

Curation
The purge was essential. We went through every single item, evaluating each category: activewear, tops, pants, dresses, ski gear, and undergarments. The goal was to streamline her collection to only what she truly wears and loves.

Implementation
This was the fun part. We wanted to make Mina’s closet feel like a little slice of luxury. Mina chose the Milky Way wallpaper by Milton and King — a striking, celestial print that set the tone for the design. We used the Elfa Decor+ system from The Container Store, opting for matte grey shelves and birch-stained trim to tie in with the wallpaper’s dreamy aesthetic. The new layout included four sections of hanging space: tops, pants, dresses/long hang, and activewear. Plus, four drawers and a top shelf for seasonal and less-used items like swimwear.

The Result
Mina’s closet is now a dream space that’s as functional as it is beautiful. Every piece of clothing now lives in one place, making it easy to see what she has and access it quickly. Her dresser is now empty, her hallway closet is clear, and every time she opens her closet doors, she’s greeted by a beautiful Milky Way scene — complete with dimmable lights for both functionality and ambiance.
